Holiday’s can be a stressful time of year. The never ending “to-do” list can seem daunting. The last thing most of us want to worry about is what we will bring to a party or what we will be serving.
Over the past month my husband and I have entertained quite a bit. I’m not sure what my deal is but I haven’t really felt like “making” anything. So I found a way to entertain without making a thing. Seriously, not one thing. (Thank goodness for crockpots!) Here’s a round up of what I’ve been serving and hopefully it will help some of you that aren’t in the mood or don’t have the time to make something yourself!
Charcuterie Board
Not going to lie, this was the first time I tried to do a board and I was nervous but honestly it was really easy. I ordered everything using WalMart Grocery Pickup!
Here was my order:
I know it seems like a TON of stuff and it was quite a bit but I was able to make 3 FULL boards with all of this!
Appetizers
Last weekend we had people over for a Euchre party and I didn’t feel like making ANYTHING. I grabbed by Duo Crock Pot, you can find a similar one HERE, and grabbed a Spinach Artichoke Dip from Costco and Buffalo Chicken Dip from Trader Joes. I just dumped both into the crockpot an hour before the party and served with tortilla and pita chips!
I got out my big Crock Pot and purchased 3 bags of Meatballs from Trader Joes. I just put barbecue sauce over them. I started these an hour before the party as well.
The last thing I grabbed was Trader Joe’s Pub Cheese Dip and it by far was the HUGE favorite! I just served it with a variety cracker pack that I grabbed at Trader Joe’s as well.
I really hope this post helps take some stress off you during this holiday season!!
