I’m not even going to pretend that someone asked what type of make-up I use or my skin care routine, I just thought I would share them with you! I recently spent the weekend with a few friends and it’s always interesting to see and hear what others are using, with so many different products on the market!
I’m not going to lie many of these products have been purchased after hearing other “influencers” rave about them. I also get an Ipsy Bag every month, such a fun way to get and try new products!
Skincare:
Let’s get this party started with skincare! A few years ago I decided after not really having a consistent regimen in place that I should probably get on that as I was approaching 40! I fell in love with the Colleen Rothschild products and have never looked back. I started with the Discovery Collection, which basically gives you a travel size of their most popular products. It was a great way to try everything, before making a huge commitment and to see what I really loved/didn’t. I have two ride or dies, I don’t go a day without these two products, the Sheer renewal cream (I use in the morning) and the Extreme Recovery Cream ( I use every night). I have extremely dry skin, so I use the Radiant Cleansing Balm, every other night. Gentle enough to take your eye makeup off! My other favorite eye make-up remover, this stuff! I’ve been using it for years!
On to Makeup…I will be honest I love to try new products, so I generally have a few favorites of each item! I will share them all, everything from drugstore to department store! I have pretty severe rosacea, I just recently discovered this tinted moisturizer and love it for how moisturizing it is and it give a nice base coverage. I really wish it had a sunscreen in it. I have a few different foundations I really like right now, I have been rotating them pretty regularly, just based on the day! Julie told me about this face tape, and I agree the coverage is amazing. This is another one I’ve come to really like, by the same brand, it’s a best seller. Looking for a drugstore option, I really like this one. I use bronzer all year round, I just feel better with a little glow! As far as blush and highlighter go, I generally use whatever I have around from my latest Ipsy bag. I do have this one that came as part of a bundle, and really like it.
Onto Eyes…I’ve been using this eye shadow palette for the last few months and really like it! Before this palette, I was an urban decay girl and still really like them, their brushes can not be topped, so good! A few of my favorite palettes are the Naked palette and the Honey palette. My go-to eye liner, I always go back to it and favorite eye brow pencil, both drugstore finds. I’ve tried tons of mascaras, this is my favorite one lately!
Around this time of year I also need a little pick me up, and starting using bronzer once a week or so. I just started using this one this year and really like it! I apply it with this mitt!
