I would like to start out by saying I know next to nothing about makeup but I do love how it transforms my tired face! Ha! Sharing my current beauty favorites with you!
About 2 1/2 years ago I started noticing that I wasn’t getting any younger. It was a very sad day. I was starting to see the lines around my eyes and decided I needed to start implementing a skin care routine. Up until that point I was the girl that went to bed with a full face of makeup. I hated washing my face and the most I would do would be to use a makeup remover but that usually didn’t happen until after my shower in the morning to get the rest of the mascara off from the day before. One of my good friends from high school introduced me to Ever Skincare and I haven’t looked backed.
I’ve been using Ever for 2 1/2 years now and LOVE it. I use the “Ever Edit” which is 5 products total. A cleansing balm, face and eye serum, daylight moisturizer with SPF, Hydralift Gel for nighttime and an eye concentrate. I’ll be honest and say it is expensive on first glance. However one order lasts my about 4 months which breaks the product down to about $12 per product/month, which I don’t think is bad at all!
Onto makeup…I have definitely evolved in this area over the last 3 years. I’ve been “influenced” by other bloggers and my subscription to IPSY helps! I won’t talk about everything I use but did want to mention a few.
I recently fell in love with the Face Tape by Tarte as my foundation. I feel like the coverage is amazing and it lasts all day!! I set it with ELF Perfect Finishing Powder which keeps my masks clean and it’s a steal at $6!! Lastly I want to mention my foundation brush. I’m a HUGE fan of Eco Tools brushes and love this one for foundation.
