Shape Wear Review- Sharing the Good and Not so Great!

We had a question a few weeks back about our favorite shape wear. I’ve had a go-to favorite for a few years now, I will share later on in this blog post, but I thought it might be fun to order some different styles from a variety of different retailers and varying price points and see how they compared. I’m going to be honest I am all for a little smoothing and sucking in action, but if I’m sweating just trying to fit one leg in, or feel like a stuffed sausage, it’s going to be a pass for me. I need to be able to breath and be comfortable. LOL

Let’s get to it! I figured the best way to compare the shape wear I ordered was to put on my most body-con dress and take pictures from both the front and back. I am wearing in XL in the dress. Here we go!

This first pictures is just in my normal bra and underwear, no shapewear! Here is our baseline. LOL

First up the Miracle Suit, I was really hopeful with the name. You guys I could get this one on. LOL Super firm, after tugging and pulling, I gave up! It’s a no for me, but does have great reviews on Amazon! Maybe sizing up would help?

Next up was the camisole. This one was o.k. I think it would be a great options under a blouse,etc. It wasn’t the best choice for this dress.

As you can see it doesn’t do a whole lot to smooth out the back and you can see the line where it ends. Not my favorite.

Here is another option I just couldn’t get on, no amount of pulling or holding my breathe was going to make these work. LOL

Hands down my favorite for so many reasons… It is super light-weight and breathable and actually comfortable on. It has a little bit of lace detail, so it has a little bit of “pretty” to it. Just a great affordable option! It has great reviews and I would say runs TTS.
