Our Uncle David, our mom’s twin brother, always gave us an Advent calendar every year growing up! We used to hang it on the fridge and take turns opening up each little flap, excited to see the picture or little message each new day would bring as we inched closer to Christmas Day! As we have grown up and now have kids of our own, he has continued the tradition for our own kids! My kids always look forward to getting this calendar from Uncle David, we tape it on the fridge, and they set up a schedule to make sure the opening is “fair”! LOL
