Our “Ever” Experience

Trisha and I will be the first to admit that skincare is probably the last thing we think about.  Truthfully neither one of us washes are faces before we head to bed. Not good.  The reality though is we aren’t getting any younger and all of our days in the sun are catching up to us.  We both had been looking at different skincare products but hadn’t settled down with just one.  We were given the opportunity by one of wonderful friends to sample a relatively new skincare product recently and wanted to share our honest thoughts with you.  Please know we were not compensated for this blog post, we just wanted to give you a truthful insight on what we thought.

So on that note have you heard of EVER skincare?  It’s a newer skincare line under the brand of Stella & Dot.   It’s a botanically based line made with all good-for-you ingredients. They offer a 4 step regimen with different options for different skin types that is  proven to target the Top 10 visible signs of aging and also have a Power Treatment collection that provides masks, eye lifts, dark spot corrector, and facial oils.

Julie’s Opinion:

I was honestly very surprised how quickly I noticed a difference in my skin.  After the first night of use I woke up and my face felt so soft and fresh. I loved it.  I will say I only used the products at night as I was trying to gradually make the change to actually wash my face.  I have 2 favorites from the regimen which are the luminous cleansing balm (Step1) and the tinted moisturizer (Step 4). The cleansing balm actually felt like you applied lotion to your face after you washed it.  The tinted moisturizer was AMAZING.  I plan on wearing this everyday instead of my typical makeup BB Cream.  I don’t think I would use the exfoliating pads (Step 2) every day but a few times a week would be nice. Step 3, Youthful, is EVER’s anti-aging serum that helps with fine lines around the eyes, mouth and face. It doesn’t contain retinol which is nice for anyone who is looking to get pregnant, is pregnant or is nursing which definitely does NOT apply to me but is still a nice feature. Haha =) I am indifferent to this step mostly because it’s one you can’t “see or feel” working but I am sure it had a lot to do with how great my skin was looking.

I also tried out a couple items from the power treatment collection.  Revive, which in an intensive eye lift serum and Purify which is a deep clean detox mask. I loved Revive, especially having 3 kids under 3.  There are some nights I don’t get a whole lot of sleep and using the Revive really helped remove the puffiness and dark circles. I liked the mask but I really don’t think I am a mask person so I probably wouldn’t use it too often.

The last thing we tried was the Lavish body butter.  Let me start by saying that I LOVE body butter and this one did not disappoint.  I put lotion on my hands probably 20 times a day. I hate the way my hands feel without it and this kept my hands softer and smoother than other lotions I have tried.

Trisha’s Opinion:

As Julie mentioned above, I am not the best about taking care of my skin. I’ve tried many products in the past but never really stuck with anything or found something that I really loved. That being said, I really did like these products and have been consistent in using them since I received them, which is big for me.  My favorites out of the 4 step regimen were the luminous cleaning lotion and the tinted moisturizer (my favorite).

I loved the revive from the power treatment collection, I struggle with dark circles under my eyes and after just a few applications could tell a difference with this product! As Julie mentioned the body butter was amazing!

All of the products have a really pleasant smell to them and left my skin feeling soft and smooth, not drying at all!
