For the last two years I have received an Ipsy Glam Bag in the mail. Every month I always look forward to it. Not only is it a great “surprise” every month (who doesn’t like getting mail?!) but it’s also awesome to be able to try out products!!
For those unfamiliar with Ipsy I’ll give you a little summary. It’s a monthly subscription of 5 makeup/beauty items that come to your door for $10/month. It’s a great way to try a new mascara, lipstick or face mask. You can tailor the bag not only to your personal preferences (say you want more skin care than make up) but also to what would look best with your skin tone and eye color.
I thought it would be fun to review my March Ipsy bag for you. I had some amazing products in it.
Estate Cosmetics-Dew Me Baked Highlighter in Pearl
If you know me personally you know I LOVE a highlighter. It’s my favorite item in my makeup bag. I always enjoy trying new ones and did really like this. It is more subtle than what I am using currently but sometimes that’s a good thing. 😉 I do recommend this product.
Morphe- Mini Bronzer in Debutante
Who doesn’t love a good bronzer? Since I live in Michigan and we are just finally starting to see the sun again after Winter a bronzer is always in my make-up bad. This is a good one. Nice matte finish and very blendable. I recommend this product.
Ciate London-Mini Lip Lustre in Call Me
I do love a lip gloss! I loved that this one wasn’t sticky. I do wish it had more pigment to it. If you are looking for a clear gloss that isn’t sticky I recommend. If you are looking to add color to your lips I do not.
Tarte- Maneater Voluptuous Mascara
One of my favorite things about Ipsy is trying a new mascara every month. I’ve learned what I like and don’t like very quickly. This one falls into the WIN column. The biggest thing I noticed with this one is that it doesn’t FLAKE. Never do I have it fall under my eye and that is a HUGE plus for me! Highly recommend. Also, I love the brush!
I Dew Care-Disco Kitten Illuminating Diamond Peel Off Mask
Let me start by saying I HATE MASKS. I can’t stand the feel of a sheet mask and I find a lot of peel masks hurt and leave my skin irritated. Also, who has 10 mins to wait and let that thing dry?! Anyway, slightly getting off track, I actually liked this mask. It actually peeled off in BIG pieces! So that was a big plus! Did I notice a big difference in my skin after? Not really. It felt nice and was clean but that’s about it. So if you LIKE masks I would recommend. If you are like me and don’t love them you can probably skip this one too. 😉
Let me know if you have any questions. I would be happy to help!
