Hopping on the blog today to share my new found skincare routine! Full disclosure here, up until January of this year..I had no skincare routine…I didn’t even wash my face at night! I know, not my best plan, especially after seeing how much of a difference a few minutes of time each night makes with how your skin looks. A little about my skin…I have extremely dry skin on my face, I’ve had rosacea for years, and I spent way to much time in the sun and tanning bed in my younger years!
There are so many skincare lines out there and I need to be honest and say this is the only one I have consistently tried, so I can’t speak for how it compares to others. A few bloggers that I follow, kept mentioning kept mentioning this skin care line and when I saw a sale come up, I thought I would give it a whirl.
I spent a few weeks reading/researching on-line and decided to go with this Discovery Set to try out the products, see what worked for me and what didn’t and and if this was a routine i was going to stick with. Included in the kit are the following products and a little bit about each one. First up was this cleanser..all of the products smell amazing! I love that this is so easy to use and not drying at all. Put a small amount on face and rinse off with warm water.
Moving on to possible my favorite product of them all..the extreme recovery cream. This product is extremely moisturizing and has done amazing things for my skin.
Up next..the Face Oil N9. The most moisturizing oil that ever was!
Moving on to what wakes my skin up every morning! Sheer Renewal Cream!
And Last but Not Least: The Dual Enzyme Polish and Clarifying Detox Mask
After trying all of the products, I now present to you the products that made the cut, my new daily skincare routine! I have since re-ordered these products in “regular size”. I will tell you the cleansing balm will last me for a while, quite possibly a year. I have about half left of the sheer renewal cream and face oil, so they look to be items i will have to order about twice a year. I am towards the end of the jar of extreme recovery, so that looks to be a re-order every 3 months or so.
In the end, the detox mask was simply to drying for my face and I did like the clarifying mask but I’m just not good about doing them.
