It’s my turn (Trisha) this month to review our Ipsy Glam bag. In all honesty, I took a little break from Ipsy Glam Bag last year ..but found myself really missing the cute little bags with fun new makeup to try every month, so I signed up again and I’m so glad I did. . Not only is it a great “surprise” every month (who doesn’t like getting mail?!) but it’s also awesome to be able to try out products!!

For those unfamiliar with Ipsy I’ll give you a little summary. It’s a monthly subscription of 5 makeup/beauty items that come to your door for $10/month. It’s a great way to try a new mascara, lipstick or face mask. You can tailor the bag not only to your personal preferences (say you want more skin care than make up) but also to what would look best with your skin tone and eye color.

I thought it would be fun to review my April Ipsy bag for you. I had some amazing products in it.

Delectable: Triple Citrus Blend Body Butter Cream

I have never met a body butter I didn’t like, bonus that it has such a nice citrus smell. i found it to be very moisturizing!

The BalmJour Creamy Lip Stain in Kannichiwa

This lip stain wasn’t my favorite, but I think it may have been the color they sent me. I am more of a hot pink/glossy girl and this was very much a neutral/earthy tone. I did find it moisturizing and not dry at all.

Tarte Double Duty Beauty Base Tape Hydrating Primer

I am beginning to see a trend here…I have yet to meet a Tarte Brand product I haven’t fallen in love with. I have super dry skin so I found this to be very hydrating and I am a fan of anything that helps my makeup make it through the day!

Pretty Woman Nail Polish in I Can’t Deal

i wan’t able to find this nail polish in the pretty blue they sent me, but I did find this gray color, I think would be pretty! My girls are super excited to try the blue!

OFRA Cosmetics Rodeo Drive Highlighter

I love this highlighter! Julie has been on the highlighter band wagon for a while now and I am happy to report that with this highlighter I am officially sold!
