Valentine’s Day is my favorite! I’m not really sure why, we don’t go crazy with gifts or a fancy dinner out, but I do try attempt to shower the ones I love with a little extra that day! Today I am sharing some fun “heart” finds, pj’s, small gift ideas for the family, some of my favorite decor, and one of my favorite activities to do for our kids!
Let’s start with some ideas of what to wear! I have hard rules about my “Christmas/Halloween” Shirts, once the holiday passes, they are put away for next year. Hearts, however, I’m totally good wearing them all year round. Sharing a round up of some of our favorite “heart” wear, or maybe you prefer just a simple red or pink top, we have you covered there too!

Gift Ideas:
I mentioned early, my husband and I usually don’t exchange gifts for Valentine’s day but I do usually grab the kids a little something. Here are a few ideas I spotted.
Cute Idea for the Kids:
I’m sure you’ve heard about this activity, my kids look forward to it every year. You can either buy or make paper hearts. Starting February 1st, we write a quality/action, etc. that we love about each kid and then tape it to their door, when they wake up in the morning they love to see the new heart. Simple, but such a great reminder to all of us, how a relatively easy gesture can make such a difference and somebodies day a little brighter.
